The Cobalt 1000 fiber laser engraver is a productive, compact computer-to-plate etching system for producing high-resolution pad printing plates. The Cobalt 1000 fiber laser engraver eliminates many inconsistencies in the pad printing process while offering a dramatic increase in quality, efficiency and process improvements over existing plate technologies. As an added feature, the Cobalt 1000 is able to engrave thin and thick steel clichés (plates), as well as other metallic items. In addition to plate-making, the Cobalt 1000 is able to etch on a wide variety of items including copper mugs, pens, keychains, flasks, and vape pens.
Compatible plate material includes Cobalt Steelback, Cobalt Ultra, DuraLaze, Onyx and Onyx Steelback.
